My first full foam costume head! (or any costume head for that matter) The full costume was awesome. It was digitigrade, had a very bouncy wire and foam tail belt, and big slipper feet! I wore it last halloween with my boyfriend as Shaggy! (made his costume too *whew*)
We rode our scooter around to a couple of daycare centers (the kids loved hugging scooby) and other places to visit everyone! People wanted our autographs and photos with us all day! I love halloween! ...and cartoons!
made with upolstery foam, fleece, felt, yarn, hot glue, screen, paint, magic sculpt, wire, mysterious bluish green fabric, shrinky dinks, and hours of patience!

Scooby!
You did a great job making this head accurate to Scooby's style and shape, excellent work.

I know someone that did a Garfield head for a costume in a similar fashion. Of course, they used a Football helmet for shape and support.

I was quite surprised how well upolstery foam holds its shape, I thought I might need a helmet too, but nope, that stuff's great!
